Hello, and welcome, fellow explorers! You’ve safely landed here!
I write under the name The Galactic Writer, but in my other life, I spent decades working as a nurse and psychotherapist. My career revolved around listening carefully to people’s stories—how they think, what they fear, what they dream about, and what gives their lives meaning.
Long before those careers began, I started writing a science fiction story.
That was over 40 years ago.
The story stayed with me throughout different chapters of my life: education, work, family, and now retirement. Some stories quietly fade away. This one didn’t. It kept resurfacing in my imagination like a signal from deep space!
In 2023, I self-published a nonfiction book. Completing that project reminded me how powerful it is to bring a long-held idea into the world.
This science fiction story is more than an idea to me. It’s like an old friend tapping me on the shoulder, gently whispering, “Let’s go. Now’s the time to write me.”
So, I plan to finish the novel and serialize it later in 2026. Come along for the ride!
